The Just-In-Case Case is the ideal aid for use in small scale disasters such as flooding, exposure to elements or dust ingress. Remember, be prepared.

The Just–In-Case case disaster preparedness kit was developed and researched with Preservation Equipment Ltd who have vast experience in supplying materials and equipment for conservation, preservation and archival storage to institutions especially museums, archives and libraries. While there are spill kits and first aids kits available no one provides a kit that comes close to the Just-In-Case case disaster preparedness kit. The kit has been created with the experience and support of conservators, curators, archivists, librarians and collection managers.

The Just-In-Case case is designed to be used primarily by a 2 person team and provides a range of items to prevent further damage, document damage and then clean-up. The kit is intended for use in small scale disasters such as flooding, exposure to elements or dust ingress. Each kit is sealed to prevent misuse of contents.

The Just-In-Case case is a two wheeled trolley which can be pulled up steps or the boxes removed for separate handling.

On the top of the trolley the contents of each box are listed so that any items may be found quickly. Both boxes are security sealed so that it would be obvious if the seals were broken and items have been removed and not replaced. Spare security seals are provided with each kit. In an emergency seals are broken, just as they are on fire extinguishers.

Just-In-Case pack

Also available is the Just-In-Case pack, this comes in a single box and is designed for use by one person. Due to space constraints many of the water absorbent items found in the case are not contained in the kit. We recommend the kit for smaller locations and areas with minimal risk of water damage.

Location labels are provided with both kits, they can then be placed around the building with the details on where the Just in Case case is housed.

Should any item be used or removed all contents can be ordered separately.
